Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate nursing care within our healthcare facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while managing a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.Duties<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.</li><li>Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations for nursing staff, fostering professional development.</li><li>Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA standards.</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, including dementia care, behavioral health, and geriatrics.</li><li>Manage clinical operations involving EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for seamless documentation.</li><li>Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterile processing procedures.</li><li>Participate in discharge planning, utilization review, and case management to optimize patient outcomes and resource utilization.</li><li>Oversee specialized procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, tube feeding management, and ventilator care in acute care settings like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers.</li><li>Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements including OSHA standards, NCQA standards, and workers' compensation law.</li><li>Lead emergency response efforts including airway management and acute pain management during critical incidents or trauma situations.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid registered nurse license with current state registration.</li><li>Proven supervisory experience in a healthcare setting; previous nurse management preferred.</li><li>Extensive critical care experience including ICU or Level I Trauma Center environments.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding and medical documentation standards.</li><li>Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to acute care and specialized units like PICU or neonatal ventilator management.</li><li>Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those requiring dementia or memory care services is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to perform patient assessments involving vital signs, physical examinations, specimen collection/processing, and diagnostic evaluation.</li><li>Skilled in medication administration including injections and IV therapy; competent in venipuncture and sterile techniques.</li><li>Excellent team management skills with the ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams effectively.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
