Whether performing routine cleaning tasks or tackling specialized floor care, your efforts will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customer satisfaction and store success.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform thorough cleaning of retail floors, aisles, restrooms, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies</li><li>Conduct detailed custodial tasks including dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and sanitization to uphold hygiene standards</li><li>Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like reporting larger issues to management for prompt resolution</li><li>Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment</li><li>Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards consistently across the store</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within retail or commercial settings</li><li>Knowledge of floor care techniques including knowledge of which chemicals are safe to use on specific flooring</li><li>Familiarity with commercial cleaning supplies</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods,</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards</li><li>Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team</li></ul>Join us in creating an inviting shopping environment where cleanliness is key!
