Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of retail floors, aisles, restrooms, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Conduct detailed custodial tasks including dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and sanitization to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like reporting larger issues to management for prompt resolution
• Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards consistently across the store

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within retail or commercial settings
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including knowledge of which chemicals are safe to use on specific flooring
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning supplies
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods,
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
