This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills across a variety of maintenance tasks, supporting the overall functionality of our facilities.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other hand tools to diagnose issues accurately.</li><li>Conduct HVAC system repairs, including filter replacement, ductwork adjustments, and system calibrations to maintain indoor climate control.</li><li>Execute plumbing maintenance and repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining plumbing systems to prevent disruptions.</li><li>Utilize welding skills for metal fabrication or repair tasks as needed to support facility infrastructure.</li><li>Maintain building interior through painting, carpentry, and general facilities maintenance to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality.</li><li>Operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.</li><li>Supervise or assist with facilities equipment maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.</li><li>Lead or support team members in maintenance activities with leadership skills that promote efficiency and safety standards.</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members and vendors to coordinate repairs or upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in maintenance roles within manufacturing or facilities environments with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.</li><li>Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting electrical equipment.</li><li>Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and plumbing system maintenance is essential.</li><li>Skilled in the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and specialized equipment like welders.</li><li>Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.</li><li>Strong electrical experience combined with familiarity with CMMS software for effective work order management.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration across teams.</li><li>Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to guide junior team members effectively.</li><li>Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.</li></ul>Join us as a Maintenance Staff member if you&rsquo;re passionate about keeping facilities running smoothly through your technical expertise! Small upscale boutique hotel is seeking an individual with excellent customer service skills.Available shifts: 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm shift and 11pm to 7am shift. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.Job Summary:Represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay by working with all hotel personnel to ensure every guest experiences superior customer care. Responsibilities include registering guests, assigning rooms, accommodating special requests, and ensuring the guests have a pleasant stay and smooth checkout.Job Duties:<ul><li>Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary.</li><li>Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.</li><li>Registers arriving guests and assigns rooms.</li><li>Coordinates room status updates with all department by notifying departments of check-outs, check-ins, and special requests/repairs.</li><li>Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.</li><li>Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.</li><li>Processes guest check-outs and handles monetary transactions.</li><li>Maintains customers' privacy.</li><li>Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to communicate with public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner.</li><li>Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit, check cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.</li><li>Able to properly secure guest information.</li><li>Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures.</li><li>Skilled in the use of front office equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule on weekends and holidays.</li></ul>Pay: $15.25 - $15.50 per hourWork Location: In person
