Maintenance Staff

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of our building’s infrastructure and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all occupants. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other hand tools to diagnose issues accurately.
• Conduct HVAC system repairs, including filter replacement, ductwork adjustments, and system calibrations to maintain indoor climate control.
• Execute plumbing maintenance and repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining plumbing systems to prevent disruptions.
• Utilize welding skills for metal fabrication or repair tasks as needed to support facility infrastructure.
• Maintain building interior through painting, carpentry, and general facilities maintenance to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality.
• Operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
• Supervise or assist with facilities equipment maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Lead or support team members in maintenance activities with leadership skills that promote efficiency and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and vendors to coordinate repairs or upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance roles within manufacturing or facilities environments with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and plumbing system maintenance is essential.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and specialized equipment like welders.
• Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Strong electrical experience combined with familiarity with CMMS software for effective work order management.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration across teams.
• Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to guide junior team members effectively.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
