In this high-impact role, the successful candidate will provide expert-level guidance and thought leadership, working in close partnership with senior business stakeholders and an established third-party delivery partner.This is a rare opportunity to shape the long-term AI strategy of a sophisticated financial institution-playing a central role in defining the roadmap, overseeing the design of high-value initiatives, and ensuring delivery of measurable innovation and business outcomes. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Define, refine, and influence the firm's enterprise-wide AI strategy and implementation roadmap.</li><li>Provide advanced technical leadership across a diverse range of functions including investment, operations, and finance.</li><li>Collaborate with an external delivery partner to steer the design and execution of AI initiatives, ensuring best-in-class outcomes.</li><li>Act as an internal thought leader, identifying and promoting innovative AI applications that deliver competitive advantage.</li><li>Communicate complex AI methodologies and insights in a clear, strategic manner to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Advise the business on emerging AI capabilities, balancing visionary thinking with practical feasibility and organisational readiness.</li><li>Ensure alignment between business priorities and technical execution through continuous stakeholder engagement and oversight.</li></ul> What we're looking for: <ul><li>Strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.</li><li>Proven experience in designing and delivering AI solutions-demonstrating not only technical implementation skills but also architectural and strategic thinking.</li><li>Prior experience within investment management or the broader financial services sector is essential.
