Position Overview: Purchasing AnalystA growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Purchasing Analyst to join its Procurement team. This role plays a key part in supporting purchasing operations, ensuring the timely procurement of goods and materials necessary for business continuity and financial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis<ul><li>Analyze historical procurement and sales data to identify trends by item, customer, and vendor.</li><li>Prepare and present insights through daily, weekly, and monthly reports.</li></ul>Vendor Management<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor and sourcing information.</li><li>Communicate regularly with key suppliers to foster strong and reliable relationships.</li></ul>Inventory Item Master Management<ul><li>Manage product setup and updates within the inventory system.</li><li>Create and maintain bills of materials for production and assembled goods.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Creative, Sales, and Marketing to launch new products.</li><li>Support decision-making for product lifecycle management, including end-of-life reviews.</li><li>Recommend appropriate minimum order quantities and stock levels.</li></ul>Inventory Purchase Reviews<ul><li>Conduct regular reviews of stock requirements and purchasing needs.</li><li>Develop a thorough understanding of company products and inventory flow.</li><li>Identify and resolve backorder issues through improved purchasing strategies.</li></ul>Open Purchase Order Tracking<ul><li>Monitor and manage open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.</li><li>Work with suppliers to identify opportunities to reduce production lead times.</li></ul>Work Order Initiation<ul><li>Generate work orders to maintain adequate inventory of assembled items.</li><li>Ensure sufficient raw material availability to support assembly operations.</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities<ul><li>Uphold strong internal controls to protect company assets and maintain financial integrity.</li><li>Participate in initiatives aimed at improving procurement systems and workflows.</li><li>Collaborate across departments to align procurement strategies with broader business goals.</li></ul>QualificationsEducation<ul><li>Post-secondary education in database management, computer science, or a related field preferred.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; pivot tables and data linking experience required.</li><li>Experience with SQL or other database query tools preferred.</li><li>High level of understanding of ERP systems</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li>High attention to detail and data accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Company-paid short-term disability</li><li>Life and accidental injury insurance</li><li>401(k) retirement plan</li><li>Paid time off and company holidays</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 &ndash; 45 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
