Position Overview:

The Inventory Specialist – Warehouse is responsible for maintaining the physical organization and flow of materials within the production area. This role ensures that all necessary supplies and components are readily available for production teams, while keeping work areas stocked, clean, and well-organized to support efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull and deliver raw materials and components to production workstations as needed.
• Put away materials and finished goods in designated storage areas after use or completion.
• Maintain organized, clearly labeled stock locations within the production area.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) to ensure material freshness and quality.
• Conduct regular visual checks to verify stock levels and communicate shortages to supervisors.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.
• Identify and report damaged, misplaced, or incorrect materials immediately.
• Support safe handling and storage practices in compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient workspace to support production flow.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in production, inventory handling, or material movement preferred.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other material-handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing daily tasks.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Team-oriented with good communication and time management skills.
