Zenimax Media is seeking an experienced Leave Administration Manager to join our Global Benefits and Compliance team on a temporary contract basis. This role will serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all leave-related programs, including FMLA, short- and long-term disability, and state-mandated paid leave programs. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional with the ability to provide a consultative approach to ensure the compliant administration of all leave programs. *This temporary contract role will be onsite three days a week in the Rockville, MD office*
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Leave Administration<ul><li>
Administer all aspects of FMLA including eligibility, certifications, tracking, designations, and communication.</li><li>
Manage state-specific leave programs and coordinate with federal and company policies.</li><li>
Ensure proper sequencing and concurrency of leave types.</li></ul>
ADA &amp; Workplace Accommodations<ul><li>
Oversee &amp; coordinate ADA accommodation requests and medical documentation.</li><li>
Engage in the interactive process with HR, managers, and employees.</li></ul>
Disability Programs<ul><li>
Coordinate short-term and long-term disability programs with vendors and internal stakeholders.</li><li>
Ensure accurate alignment with payroll regarding disability, parental leave, and state programs.</li></ul>
Systems &amp; Recordkeeping<ul><li>
Track leave usage and intermittent absences.</li><li>
Maintain confidential leave documentation in compliance with policy.</li></ul>
Employee &amp; Manager Support<ul><li>
Serve as primary point of contact for leave-related questions.</li><li>
Advise managers on leaves, return-to-work steps, and accommodations</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Minimum of at least 5 years of progressive experience in leave of absence administration, with expert knowledge of ADA and FMLA, with a focus on state leave and disability programs in a multi-state environment.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases with sensitivity, discretion, and legal compliance.</li><li>
High level of proficiency in Workday and other HRIS systems and leave management platforms.</li><li>
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li></ul>
Preferred Skills<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, CPDM) preferred.</li><li>
Experience working in a global environment with locations in NA and EMEA</li><li>
HR certification(PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred</li></ul>
Salary Range
This is a temporary contract role and the compensation detail listed in this posting reflect the annual base salary only.
