This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction and roofing while making a tangible impact on our clients&rsquo; properties.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct thorough inspections of roofs to identify damage, leaks, or deterioration using schematics and blueprint reading skills.</li><li>Perform repairs on roofing systems utilizing hand tools, power tools, caulking, and other specialized equipment.</li><li>Assist with roof installation, restoration, and maintenance projects by following detailed schematics and construction plans.</li><li>Execute heavy lifting tasks safely when handling materials such as shingles, metal panels, or insulation components.</li><li>Apply roofing techniques including tile laying, stucco application, metal stud framing, and framing carpentry to ensure high-quality results.</li><li>Collaborate with team members on construction estimating and project planning to optimize efficiency and resource use.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites involving masonry, plumbing, welding, or remodeling tasks.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on roofing or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or remodeling.</li><li>Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and fabrication techniques necessary for roofing repairs.</li><li>Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist with project planning and material procurement.</li><li>Prior handyman experience or exposure to metal stud framing, tile laying, or restoration projects is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
