Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of roofs to identify damage, leaks, or deterioration using schematics and blueprint reading skills.
• Perform repairs on roofing systems utilizing hand tools, power tools, caulking, and other specialized equipment.
• Assist with roof installation, restoration, and maintenance projects by following detailed schematics and construction plans.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks safely when handling materials such as shingles, metal panels, or insulation components.
• Apply roofing techniques including tile laying, stucco application, metal stud framing, and framing carpentry to ensure high-quality results.
• Collaborate with team members on construction estimating and project planning to optimize efficiency and resource use.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites involving masonry, plumbing, welding, or remodeling tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on roofing or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or remodeling.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and fabrication techniques necessary for roofing repairs.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist with project planning and material procurement.
• Prior handyman experience or exposure to metal stud framing, tile laying, or restoration projects is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
