Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and energetic Field Supervisor to lead our landscaping and grounds maintenance teams. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of outdoor projects, ensuring high-quality landscape maintenance, lawn care, and hardscape installations. Your leadership will drive team performance, coordinate with clients and project managers, and uphold safety standards across various construction projects. If you thrive in outdoor environments, possess strong supervisory skills, and have a passion for horticulture and landscaping, this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on beautiful outdoor spaces.Duties<ul><li>Supervise and manage landscaping crews to ensure efficient completion of lawn care, planting, pruning, and grounds maintenance tasks</li><li>Oversee landscape installation projects including hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls</li><li>Coordinate irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal water management across sites</li><li>Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health of landscapes</li><li>Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation tools</li><li>Manage crew schedules, assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide on-the-spot training or guidance as needed</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety protocols during outdoor work activities and maintain a clean work environment</li><li>Communicate regularly with clients and project managers to update on project status and address any issues promptly</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven supervising experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance with strong team management skills</li><li>Extensive outdoor work experience including lawn care, gardening, tree care, and landscape maintenance</li><li>Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant identification techniques</li><li>Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely; grounds maintenance tools familiarity required</li><li>Experience with irrigation management systems and hardscape construction preferred</li><li>Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with experience operating company vehicles required for site visits and project coordination</li><li>Construction experience related to projects is advantageous but not mandatory</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance</li></ul>Join us in shaping vibrant outdoor environments!
