Keeps clients informed frequently of the status of their case.</li><li>Communicates effectively, professionally, and responsibly with opposing counsel and the Court.</li><li>Manages cases and deadlines, keeping the firm apprised of status and issues.</li><li>Keeps online and paper files well-organized.</li><li>Multi-tasks effortlessly.</li><li>Makes sure clients are fully prepped for adversarial events.</li><li>Represents clients at Court hearings, mediation, conferences, and depositions.</li><li>Works effectively with all team members.</li><li>Attends CLEs, bar association events, business development, and networking functions.</li><li>Prepares on-line posts and assists in writing and researching articles.</li><li>Performs all other tasks as requested.</li></ul>A successful candidate will: <ul><li>Genuinely like working with people, with empathy and patience.</li><li>Embrace service-oriented problem solving, taking the initiative to act quickly and decisively when a client experiences a problem that requires a prompt solution.</li><li>Be able to understand that clients have different styles and needs and adapt his/her/their style accordingly.</li><li>Exercise sound judgment, high integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.</li><li>Carefully proof his/her/their work.</li><li>Not be afraid to ask questions or collaborate on finding a solution for a problem. Admit when he/she/they doesn&rsquo;t/don&rsquo;t know something.</li><li>Be able to step outside comfort zone to take on new challenges, particularly with respect to litigation.</li><li>Promote the firm and actively develop business for the firm.</li><li>Write clearly and concisely.
