Among other things, our attorney:
- Performs case-related research for our cases.
- Negotiates with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
- Drafts pleadings, correspondence, and agreements.
- Maintains client relationships by communicating with them often and explaining complex legal proceedings and concepts to them in easy-to-understand terms. Keeps clients informed frequently of the status of their case.
- Communicates effectively, professionally, and responsibly with opposing counsel and the Court.
- Manages cases and deadlines, keeping the firm apprised of status and issues.
- Keeps online and paper files well-organized.
- Multi-tasks effortlessly.
- Makes sure clients are fully prepped for adversarial events.
- Represents clients at Court hearings, mediation, conferences, and depositions.
- Works effectively with all team members.
- Attends CLEs, bar association events, business development, and networking functions.
- Prepares on-line posts and assists in writing and researching articles.
- Performs all other tasks as requested.

Required Education and Work Experience:
- JD from accredited law school
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Admission to the Maryland Bar, or admission pending
- Eligible to be admitted to the District of Columbia Bar
- Clerkship a plus
- Foreign languages a plus
