Helmed by Chef Omar Flores, a two-time James Beard Semi-Finalist, Best Chef SW and Dallas Rising Star Chef, this is Chef Flores&rsquo; newest passion project several years in the making.Position Overview: We are currently seeking Servers with a passion for hospitality, a talent for creating memorable guest experiences, and the ability to deliver exceptional service at our upcoming new concept, Maroma. This role is ideal for a service professional who thrives in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment and is eager to contribute to the dining experience of a brand-new upscale Mexican Coastal concept.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and elegant service to guests</li><li>Guide guests through the menu, including wine pairings and chef specialties</li><li>Anticipate and respond to guest needs promptly and professionally</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized section with attention to presentation</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service</li><li>Follow proper steps of service and adhere to company standards</li><li>Handle payments and process checks with accuracy and efficiency</li><li>Uphold Even Coast's commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>2+ years of experience in upscale dining service</li><li>Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktail offerings</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Poise and professionalism under pressure</li><li>Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays</li><li>TABC and Food Handler&rsquo;s Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)</li></ul>Physical Demands:<ul><li>Ability to work in a standing position for 8-10 hours per day</li><li>Ability to lift 60lbs (50lbs overhead)</li><li>Stand for a long period of time.</li><li>Be able to kneel, crouch, stoop, twist, reach, push, pull and grasp throughout the day.</li><li>Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over telephone.</li></ul>Big dill is an equal opportunity employer.
