Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL - Septic Truck Driver/Operator to join our team. This role involves operating septic trucks and related equipment to perform waste removal services efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a clean driving record, and familiarity with various truck types, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a vital service industry with a focus on safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Must be willing and able to pass a Septic Operator&rsquo;s test with the DNR in a timely manner. This is a seasonal position (March-November). 20-30 hours per week with the potential for more hours during peak season.Duties<ul><li>Operate septic trucks and associated equipment to perform waste removal services at various locations.</li><li>Drive a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks as needed.</li><li>Load and unload materials safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of routes, loads, and service records.</li><li>Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.</li><li>Assist with route planning to optimize schedules and service efficiency.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements for tanker, flatbed, or other specialized truck types.</li><li>Experience driving manual transmission vehicles IS required.</li><li>Proven experience operating various commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, etc.</li><li>Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience in route driving is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to load &amp; unload cargo safely using skid loader or other equipment when necessary.</li><li>Knowledge of freight handling procedures and delivery driver experience is a plus.</li><li>Excellent navigation skills for route planning and execution.</li><li>Ability to operate heavy machinery safely in compliance with OSHA regulations.</li><li>Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and customers.
