Job SummaryBigfoot Management is seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will take primary responsibility for maintaining and servicing two commercial &amp; residential buildings, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and residents enjoy a safe, comfortable environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to handle a wide variety of building maintenance tasks independently.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform daily maintenance, walkthroughs, repairs, and inspections.</li><li>Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.</li><li>Carry out preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life of facility systems.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services.</li><li>Maintain common areas and mechanical spaces in clean, safe, and operational condition.</li><li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of work orders.</li><li>Utilize maintenance software to log activities, update service records, and track materials used (a modern smartphone is required).</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and building regulations.</li><li>Collaborate closely with property management and tenants to deliver exceptional service.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years of experience in facility or property maintenance, preferably in multi-unit or commercial buildings.</li><li>Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and safely.</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities across large sites.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation.</li><li>Able to pass a state and federal background check.</li><li>Must have a smartphone capable of running company maintenance applications.</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork attitude, and attention to detail</li></ul>Why Join Bigfoot Management?We take pride in maintaining properties that residents are proud to call home.
