Paid training is provided to ensure you excel in your role.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages with precision and care, ensuring quality and consistency.</li><li>Create colorful, flavorful snow cones by expertly handling flavored syrups and ice.</li><li>Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food preparation stations and serving counters.</li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end.</li><li>Follow food safety guidelines diligently during food handling, preparation, and serving to ensure a safe environment for all guests.</li><li>Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and notifying management of low stock levels.</li><li>Some shifts may be solo shifts.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles within caf&eacute;s or the food industry.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as square for efficient sales processing.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating independence when needed.
