Your expertise will help enhance building aesthetics, energy efficiency, and security, all while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values safety, precision, and craftsmanship.Responsibilities<ul><li>Measure and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install windows and doors according to specifications.</li><li>Prepare openings by framing with metal studs or wood trim carpentry, ensuring proper fit and alignment before installation.</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and secure materials during installation processes.</li><li>Install glass panels securely within frames using caulking techniques to ensure weatherproofing and insulation.</li><li>Hang doors and windows with precision, ensuring smooth operation, proper locking mechanisms, and aesthetic alignment.</li><li>Conduct fabrication of custom components as needed to meet project specifications or unique architectural requirements.</li><li>Perform heavy lifting safely while handling large glass units or door assemblies on construction sites.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics or technical drawings to follow detailed installation procedures accurately.</li><li>Apply locksmithing knowledge for lockset installation or repair during door setup.</li><li>Complete fixture installation including hardware, trim carpentry, and cabinet or remodeling components when required.</li><li>Maintain safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites or in confined spaces.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in glass installation, door hanging, framing, or related construction roles.</li><li>Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.</li><li>Ability to lift heavy materials safely and work comfortably at heights or in confined spaces.</li><li>Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to window and door installation projects.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge of lock systems, electrical components (if applicable), and metal or wood framing methods.</li><li>Construction site experience with a focus on remodeling or new builds preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing and insulation purposes.</li><li>Familiarity with metal stud framing, trim carpentry, fixture installation, cabinetry work or electrical experience is a plus.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.</li><li>Valid safety certifications relevant to construction work are highly desirable.
