Blackburn Romey, Trusted Injury Lawyers, is seeking a FULL-TIME INTAKE SPECIALIST at our GRANGER, IN office location.Blackburn Romey is a personal injury law firm serving injured clients by recovering financial compensation. These funds are often needed to pay for medical treatment, make up for lost wages, account for pain and suffering, and provide compensation for injuries suffered. Our practice areas include the following: car, truck, motorcycle, construction, slip and fall, and bicycle accidents as well as brain injuries and wrongful death.Our staff consists of 6 attorneys and around 30 employees who provide the best service for our clients. We have 6 Indiana office locations (Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, South Bend, Lafayette, Merrillville, and Terra Haute) with 2 fully staffed locations in Fort Wayne and South Bend.The INTAKE SPECIALIST reports to the team attorney while assisting clients. The INTAKE SPECIALIST work directly with clients, and insurance adjusters; needs to be able to multi-task different steps for multiple clients.The following QUALITIES are ideal:<ul><li>Professional and personable</li><li>Reliable, dependable, punctual</li><li>Self-Motivated and team-oriented</li><li>Detail-oriented and organized.</li></ul>The following SKILLS are needed:<ul><li>Task Prioritization/Multi-Tasking</li><li>Clear and Efficient Communication</li><li>Attention to Detail and Accuracy</li><li>Proficiency in Computers Skills: MS Office with Proficient Knowledge of Excel, and other general software programs.</li><li>Proficiency in Typing: Above 40 wpm.</li></ul>The following DUTIES include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Maintain communication with clients/insurance companies/investigators.</li><li>Manage multiple phone calls.</li><li>Maintain physical/digital files.</li><li>Maintain multiple attorney calendars (conference calls/meetings/hearings)</li></ul>Education and Experience: <ul><li>Associate's Degree or higher (preferred)</li><li>No prior legal experience would be required (although preferred)</li></ul>Work Location and Schedule:<ul><li>Granger, IN</li><li>Full-time position: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM</li></ul>BENEFITS: At Blackburn Romey, we value our employees' well-being and recognize the importance of providing comprehensive benefits to support their professional and personal lives.
