Best-in-class co-manufacturing services and accelerated time to market.Summary: The QA Technician performs on-floor quality assurance audits and inspectionsthroughout the beverage production and packaging facility to ensure compliancewith company, customer, and regulatory standards. This role monitors key controlpoints along the production lines&mdash;including batching, filling, pasteurization orpreservation, and packaging&mdash;to verify adherence to established GMPs and qualityprocedures. The QA Technician works closely with production, maintenance, andsanitation teams to identify and correct quality or efficiency issues in real time.This position supports continuous improvement by documenting findings,verifying corrective actions, and serving as a key resource for operators andsupervisors when critical quality concerns arise.Responsibilities<ul><li>Follow all safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).</li><li>Operate and calibrate on-floor testing equipment such as refractometers, pH meters, densitometers, thermometers, and scales.</li><li>Perform in-process checks and product analyses to verify conformance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Conduct line inspections on batching, filling, and packaging systems to ensure compliance with product and process specifications.</li><li>Segregate and hold non-conforming products; assist in determining disposition.</li><li>Enter analytical and inspection data accurately and promptly into electronic systems; immediately report deviations to supervision.</li><li>Maintain good housekeeping and hygienic practices throughout the work area.</li><li>Manage product hold documentation and support investigations into out-of-spec results.</li><li>Conduct packaging audits and verify fill levels, weights, torque, seams, and closures.</li><li>Perform or verify routine analyses such as Brix, acidity, ascorbic acid, pH, flavor, and color. Coordinate any required third-party testing.</li><li>Support verification of CCPs, sanitation checks, and pre-op inspections as needed.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>General:<ul><li>Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with co- workers, management, and clients.</li><li>Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance.</li><li>Uphold company values for teamwork, quality, and safety in all activities.</li></ul>Competencies: <ul><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and process documentation.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in basic mathematics, including ratios, percentages, averages, and volumes.</li><li>Ability to collect data, analyze trends, and draw valid conclusions.</li><li>High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.</li><li>Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills under time constraints.</li><li>Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with data entry systems.</li><li>Cooperative attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.</li></ul>Education and/or Experience: <ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in a science- related field preferred.</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a beverage or food production environment.</li><li>Experience with HPLC or microbiological testing is a plus but not required.</li></ul>Physical Demands: This role requires regular standing and walking on the production floor, andfrequent bending, lifting, and reaching. The employee must occasionally lift and/ormove up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheralvision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonableaccommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.Compensation:<ul><li>$24.00 - $30.00 per hour; dependent on experience.</li></ul>Hours:<ul><li>Monday through Thursday. 10 hour shifts.
