This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced food industry setting, all while making genuine connections with customers and colleagues alike.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair</li><li>Operate POS systems such as Clover to process transactions efficiently and accurately</li><li>Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and caf&eacute; environment</li><li>Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with accuracy using POS systems</li><li>Assist in food handling, basic food preparation, and serving ice cream and a&ccedil;a&iacute; bowls</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality or safety</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is required; coffee experience is a need!</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Clover POS</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required</li><li>Previous experience in caf&eacute; or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for coffee meets your talent for delivering outstanding service.
