Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Clover to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café environment
• Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with accuracy using POS systems
• Assist in food handling, basic food preparation, and serving ice cream and açaí bowls
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality or safety

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is required; coffee experience is a need!
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Clover POS
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Previous experience in café or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
