Our Adult Day Program (DTA) in Mesa is dedicated to fostering community interaction and helping our members achieve their goals through personalized support. We are currently seeking Full time/part time compassionate and reliable Drivers to join our dynamic team.Driver Responsibilities:Now Hiring Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) DriversAre you a reliable driver who wants to make a difference in your community? We are hiring Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers to transport insurance members to and from their homes to DTA/DTA to Home.<ul><li>Requirements:</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record</li><li>Reliable, insured vehicle (unless using company vehicle &ndash; depending on position)</li><li>Smartphone for navigation and app usage</li><li>Friendly, professional attitude</li><li>Background check and drug screening required</li><li>Drive designated AM and PM routes to transport members to and from the program.</li><li>Assist with loading and unloading individuals as necessary, including lifting and securing individuals safely.</li><li>Maintain meticulous records of daily transportation times and perform weekly vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Must pass AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance application and Criminal History check (State of Arizona requirement).</li><li>Valid Arizona Driver&rsquo;s License with a clean driving history (required for driving position, must be 21+ years old).</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform frequent walking and standing.</li><li>Minimum 18 years of age.</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of 3 professional references.</li></ul>Skills and Attributes:<ul><li>Compassionate and patient demeanor.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.</li><li>Flexible and adaptable to varying member needs and program requirements.</li></ul>If you are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and meet the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply.
