We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the design and delivery of modern data platforms in a healthcare environment. This role is focused on building scalable, cloud-native data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt, supporting enterprise analytics and data-driven decision making.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in modern ELT environments and has experience working with healthcare data.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt</li><li>Build and optimize ELT workflows for large-scale data ingestion and transformation</li><li>Develop robust data models (dimensional, incremental, SCD patterns) to support analytics and reporting</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions</li><li>Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and governance across the data platform</li><li>Support CI/CD processes and automated testing within dbt and cloud environments</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL/ELT development</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, pipelines)</li><li>Proven experience building dbt-based ELT frameworks (dbt Core or dbt Cloud)</li><li>Strong SQL skills and experience with Python for data processing</li><li>Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)</li><li>Experience building scalable data pipelines and supporting analytics platforms</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working with healthcare data (claims, EHR, interoperability, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to Epic data (Clarity, Caboodle) or healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)</li><li>Experience with modern data tools such as Airflow, Fivetran, or similar orchestration/ingestion frameworks</li><li>Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance (HIPAA)</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Strong hands-on engineer with a modern data stack mindset</li><li>Experience working in Snowflake-first, dbt-driven environments</li><li>Ability to operate in both development and solution design capacities</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders</li></ul>Why Join<ul><li>Opportunity to work on modern, cloud-based data platforms</li><li>High-impact role supporting critical healthcare data initiatives</li><li>Collaborative, forward-thinking data engineering environment</li></ul>Apply today to be part of a team building next-generation data platforms in healthcare.Job Type: Full-timePay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
