We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the design and delivery of modern data platforms in a healthcare environment. This role is focused on building scalable, cloud-native data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt, supporting enterprise analytics and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt
- Build and optimize ELT workflows for large-scale data ingestion and transformation
- Develop robust data models (dimensional, incremental, SCD patterns) to support analytics and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions
- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and governance across the data platform
- Support CI/CD processes and automated testing within dbt and cloud environments
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL/ELT development
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, pipelines)
- Proven experience building dbt-based ELT frameworks (dbt Core or dbt Cloud)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Python for data processing
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience building scalable data pipelines and supporting analytics platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with healthcare data (claims, EHR, interoperability, etc.)
- Exposure to Epic data (Clarity, Caboodle) or healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Experience with modern data tools such as Airflow, Fivetran, or similar orchestration/ingestion frameworks
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance (HIPAA)
