Job Title: IT AdministratorJob SummaryThe IT Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization&rsquo;s IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, network reliability, and smooth day-to-day operations. This role supports users, servers, networks, and applications to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem &amp; Server Management<ul><li>Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers</li><li>Manage Active Directory, user accounts, group policies, and permissions</li><li>Monitor system performance and apply updates, patches, and upgrades</li><li>Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing</li></ul>Network Administration<ul><li>Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls</li><li>Monitor network security and troubleshoot connectivity issues</li><li>Ensure secure access to systems (VPN, firewall rules, access controls)</li></ul>Virtualization &amp; Cloud<ul><li>Manage virtual machines using VMware / Hyper-V</li><li>Monitor virtual infrastructure performance and resource usage</li><li>Support basic cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar)</li></ul>Security &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Implement IT security policies and best practices</li><li>Manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and access controls</li><li>Monitor and respond to security incidents</li><li>Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data protection standards</li></ul>User Support &amp; Helpdesk<ul><li>Provide technical support to end users (hardware, software, email, printers)</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely manner</li><li>Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation</li></ul>Software &amp; Hardware Management<ul><li>Install and maintain operating systems, applications, and updates</li><li>Manage licenses for software and hardware</li><li>Coordinate with vendors for repairs, upgrades, and purchases</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field</li><li>2&ndash;5 years experience in IT administration</li><li>Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Networking</li><li>Experience with VMware / Virtualization technologies</li><li>Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices</li><li>Good troubleshooting and communication skills</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience with Microsoft 365 / Exchange</li><li>Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery</li><li>Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash)</li><li>IT certifications (MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, VMware)</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Full-time position</li><li>May require after-hours support during emergencies</li><li>Office-based with occasional remote support</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From KD300.000 per monthWork Location: Remote
