Boater&rsquo;s World Marine Centers is seeking a driven Consignment Sales Consultant whose primary focus is bringing boats into the dealership, not standing on the showroom floor waiting for walk-in buyers. This is a proactive, outbound-driven role centered around outreach, follow-up, and relationship building with boat owners who are looking to sell.
This is not a passive sales position. Success in this role comes from energy, persistence, organization, and the ability to manage a large pipeline of conversations at once. What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing
Seller Outreach &amp; Consignment Acquisition<ul><li>
 Serve as the primary point of contact for boat owners interested in consigning their boats, trailers, and marine equipment</li><li>
 Proactively reach out to prospective sellers through outbound calls, email follow-ups, inbound leads, and in-person conversations</li><li>
 Clearly explain the consignment process, pricing strategy, timelines, and expectations</li><li>
 Build urgency, maintain momentum, and move sellers from interest to signed consignment agreements</li><li>
 Manage a high-volume pipeline of seller conversations and opportunities</li></ul>
Deal Management &amp; Pipeline Execution<ul><li>
 Track and manage leads from first contact through intake and sale</li><li>
 Maintain consistent follow-up to prevent deals from stalling</li><li>
 Coordinate closely with internal sales and management teams to align on pricing and strategy</li><li>
 Assist buyers and sellers through the transaction process once inventory is onboarded</li></ul>
Inventory Coordination &amp; Organization<ul><li>
 Evaluate incoming consignment units and assist with pricing, condition notes, and market positioning</li><li>
 Ensure inventory details are accurate, complete, and entered correctly into dealership systems</li><li>
 Monitor inventory status and maintain strong organization across multiple active listings</li></ul>
Customer Experience &amp; Administrative Accuracy<ul><li>
 Deliver a professional, responsive experience to boat owners and buyers</li><li>
 Answer questions confidently and resolve issues quickly</li><li>
 Ensure all documentation, contracts, and records are completed accurately and in compliance with dealership standards</li></ul>
Team Collaboration<ul><li>
 Work closely with sales, service, and leadership teams to support dealership growth goals</li><li>
 Contribute to a high-energy, team-driven environment where activity and execution matter</li></ul>
Requirements:

Who We&rsquo;re Looking For
Experience &amp; Background<ul><li>
 Background in high-volume sales, inside sales, outside sales, hospitality, call centers, collections, or commission-based roles</li><li>
 Comfortable with outbound outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline management</li><li>
 Marine, automotive, RV, equipment, or consignment experience is a plus &mdash; but not required</li></ul>
Skills &amp; Traits<ul><li>
 High energy, motivated, and comfortable making frequent outbound calls</li><li>
 Strong communication and persuasion skills</li><li>
 Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deals at once</li><li>
 Confident working toward goals and commissions</li><li>
 Comfortable using CRM systems, inventory tools, and Microsoft Office</li><li>
 Self-starter with urgency, accountability, and follow-through</li></ul>
Education<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>
Associate or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plus</li></ul>
