Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for campers of various ages. You will lead activities, provide guidance, and ensure that all campers have a memorable and positive experience while fostering their personal growth and development.Duties<ul><li>Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.</li><li>Plan, organize, and lead various camp activities such as sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises.</li><li>Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among campers.</li><li>Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members regarding camper progress and any concerns.</li><li>Assist in maintaining a clean and organized camp environment.</li><li>Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure all safety protocols are followed.</li><li>Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, friendship, and respect among campers.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Experience in a camp setting or similar environment is preferred.</li><li>Strong classroom management skills to maintain order during activities.</li><li>Effective behavior management techniques to address camper needs positively.</li><li>Previous experience working with students or children in roles such as childcare, babysitting, daycare, or tutoring is highly valued.</li><li>Knowledge of sports coaching or recreational activities is a plus.</li><li>Certification in First Aid or CPR is beneficial but not mandatory; training may be provided.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.</li><li>Must have a valid Drivers License.</li></ul>Join us this summer as we create unforgettable memories for our campers!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Boca Raton, FL 33432 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
