Overview:Marketing &amp; Events InternLocation: In Person | Greenwood, MODuration: 3&ndash;6 months | Part-Time | Flexible HoursAbout UsBodies Race Company is a Kansas City&ndash;based event production company that creates themed running events across the country with a focus on Fun. Family. Fitness. Our creative team produces everything from medals and shirts to marketing campaigns that inspire communities to get active.We&rsquo;re looking for a Marketing &amp; Events Intern who&rsquo;s eager to learn the behind-the-scenes world of event marketing, sponsorship outreach, and race-day operations.Tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:Marketing &amp; Creative Support<ul><li>Assist with social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, Threads)</li><li>Help draft marketing emails, race promotions, and secure content</li><li>Research and organize creative assets for campaigns (photos, videos, captions)</li></ul>Event &amp; Community Outreach<ul><li>Help recruit local partners and vendors for events (food trucks, fitness studios, sponsors, and charity booths)</li><li>Communicate with community partners to confirm participation and logistics</li></ul>Recruitment &amp; Vendor Coordination<ul><li>Contact potential vendor and sponsor partners to secure booths or in-kind donations</li><li>Help maintain an outreach database of partner contacts and sponsorship leads</li></ul>Analytics &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Track post performance, email engagement, and social growth metrics</li><li>Help compile post-race reports with photos, engagement stats, and partner feedback</li></ul>What You&rsquo;ll Gain<ul><li>Real-world experience in event marketing and community engagement</li><li>Hands-on exposure to branding, communications, and event production</li><li>Portfolio-worthy work across digital and in-person campaigns</li><li>Mentorship from an experienced marketing team in a fast-growing industry</li><li>Eligibility for college credit (Bodies Race Company will provide supervision and documentation for academic programs that offer internship credit)</li><li>Opportunity to earn commission on confirmed sponsorships or vendor partnerships you help secure</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Marketing, Communications, PR, or Sports Management program</li><li>Passionate about events, community, or fitnessFamiliar with Canva, Google Suite, and social media platforms</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Available 10&ndash;15 hours per week</li></ul>Perks<ul><li>Free race entries and Bodies Race Company swag</li><li>Professional mentorship and resume-building experience</li><li>Fun, collaborative office culture (we take &ldquo;office recess&rdquo; seriously)</li></ul>Job Type: InternshipPay: Up to $1.00 per yearWork Location: In person
