About Us

Bodies Race Company is a Kansas City–based event production company that creates themed running events across the country with a focus on Fun. Family. Fitness. Our creative team produces everything from medals and shirts to marketing campaigns that inspire communities to get active.

We’re looking for a Marketing & Events Intern who’s eager to learn the behind-the-scenes world of event marketing, sponsorship outreach, and race-day operations.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Marketing & Creative Support

• Assist with social media content creation (Instagram, TikTok, Threads)
• Help draft marketing emails, race promotions, and secure content
• Research and organize creative assets for campaigns (photos, videos, captions)

Event & Community Outreach

• Help recruit local partners and vendors for events (food trucks, fitness studios, sponsors, and charity booths)
• Communicate with community partners to confirm participation and logistics

Recruitment & Vendor Coordination

• Contact potential vendor and sponsor partners to secure booths or in-kind donations
• Help maintain an outreach database of partner contacts and sponsorship leads

Analytics & Reporting

• Track post performance, email engagement, and social growth metrics
• Help compile post-race reports with photos, engagement stats, and partner feedback

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Marketing, Communications, PR, or Sports Management program
• Passionate about events, community, or fitnessFamiliar with Canva, Google Suite, and social media platforms
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Available 10–15 hours per week
