Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment committed to excellence.Duties<ul><li>Perform patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and documenting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.</li><li>Assist with non-injection aesthetic and wellness treatments including:</li><li>Body contouring treatments</li><li>Device-based treatments</li><li>Treatment room preparation and turnover</li><li>Ensure treatment rooms remain stocked, clean, and ready</li><li>Support clinical workflows by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing supplies/inventory.</li><li>Assist with on site blood draws, lab order preparation and specimen handling. Ensure lab results are received and accessible in the EHR.</li><li>Manage administrative tasks including ICD coding for diagnoses, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining accurate medical records.</li><li>Monitor patient conditions by taking and recording vital signs; facilitate patient education on treatment plans and post-procedure care.</li><li>Work closely with front desk and providers to maintain efficient workflow, communicate delays or concerns promptly</li><li>Support a positive, professional team culture</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; certification must be current.</li><li>Proven experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology.</li><li>Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and coding purposes such as ICD coding.</li><li>Ability to perform clinical procedures including intake assessments, vital sign measurement, medication administration</li><li>Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs; ability to work efficiently in high-paced environment.</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be required, such as IV cerification.</li><li>Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare setting!</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $27.58 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Continuing education credits</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>On-the-job training</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Medical office: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Certified Medical Assistant (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
