Magikid Robotics Lab of Arcadia is seeking a ROBOTICS-based and/or CODING-based instructor to teach students from grades K-8. The curriculum encompasses STEM-related content, ranging from robotics education, programming, science experiments, and much more in this STEM-centered after school program. We offer training on instructing students, mastering high-tech tools, and learning about the latest tech trends and other educational robotic resources.We provide all of our instructors with a curriculum but STRONGLY encourage creativity and freedom in terms of lesson planning. You would be responsible for delivering fun and engaging to our young learners. Class sizes typically range from 2 to 6 students.Hours: Classes mainly occur on weekdays during after school hours, and late morning-early afternoon on weekends. Great opportunity for educations who want extra hours.If you are passionate about working with children and technology, please apply.As a ROBOTICS/CODING Instructor your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):<ul><li>Instructing children in classes.</li><li>Teaching children about Robotics or Coding in a fun and engaging way.</li><li>Designing or assisting with curriculum creation.</li><li>Communication with parents. Give parents feedback about their child's learning and progress.</li><li>Helping with daily operations of the lab.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Have experience in robotics and coding (python is a must).</li><li>Have experience working with children (K-8).</li><li>Have teaching or tutoring experience.</li><li>A passion for technology and education.</li><li>Energized and enthusiastic about STEM!</li></ul>Bonus points if you: <ul><li>Have experience in VEX COMPETITION.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
