ROBOTICS/CODING Instructors Needed! After School Program

Magikid Robotics Lab of Arcadia is seeking a ROBOTICS-based and/or CODING-based instructor to teach students from grades K-8. The curriculum encompasses STEM-related content, ranging from robotics education, programming, science experiments, and much more in this STEM-centered after school program. We offer training on instructing students, mastering high-tech tools, and learning about the latest tech trends and other educational robotic resources.

We provide all of our instructors with a curriculum but STRONGLY encourage creativity and freedom in terms of lesson planning. You would be responsible for delivering fun and engaging to our young learners. Class sizes typically range from 2 to 6 students.

Hours: Classes mainly occur on weekdays during after school hours, and late morning-early afternoon on weekends. Great opportunity for educations who want extra hours.

As a ROBOTICS/CODING Instructor your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Instructing children in classes.
• Teaching children about Robotics or Coding in a fun and engaging way.
• Designing or assisting with curriculum creation.
• Communication with parents. Give parents feedback about their child's learning and progress.
• Helping with daily operations of the lab.

Requirements:

• Have experience in robotics and coding (python is a must).
• Have experience working with children (K-8).
• Have teaching or tutoring experience.
• A passion for technology and education.
• Energized and enthusiastic about STEM!

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience in VEX COMPETITION.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
