Bora Bora is seeking a Logistics Specialist with hands-on experience in import/export operations, warehouse management, and co-packing (contract manufacturing) coordination to support a growing, fast-paced organization. This role is ideal for candidates who have helped build logistics and supply chain processes from the ground up in startup or high-growth environments.The Logistics Specialist will oversee shipping, warehouse workflows, co-packing partners, and vendor coordination across New York (Staten Island) and New Jersey, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and on-time delivery as the business scales.Key Responsibilities &ndash; Logistics, Co-Packing &amp; Operations<ul><li>Manage domestic and international shipping, including import/export documentation, customs clearance, and trade compliance</li><li>Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, co-packers, and warehouse partners in NY/NJ</li><li>Support and manage co-packing (contract manufacturing) operations, including:</li><li>Production scheduling and shipment coordination</li><li>Inventory flow between suppliers, co-packers, and warehouses</li><li>Quality, accuracy, and on-time fulfillment alignment</li><li>Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory accuracy, storage, and order fulfillment</li><li>Track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and proactively resolve delays, shortages, or discrepancies</li><li>Maintain accurate logistics records, shipping documentation, inventory logs, and performance reports</li><li>Support warehouse efficiency, supply chain optimization, and cost reduction initiatives</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to support company growth</li><li>Assist with vendor and partner management, contract coordination, and performance evaluation</li><li>Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, import/export laws, safety standards, and internal SOPs</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field</li></ul>(Associate&rsquo;s degree considered with strong, relevant experience)<ul><li>2&ndash;4+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or distribution</li><li>Hands-on experience with import/export operations and international shipping</li><li>Experience working with co-packing or contract manufacturing partners</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes</li><li>Experience supporting startup, grassroots, or fast-growing organizations</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems, logistics software, and Excel / Google Sheets</li><li>Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Experience in New York, Staten Island, or New Jersey logistics markets</li><li>Exposure to ports, regional distribution centers, co-packers, or multi-location warehouses</li><li>Proven experience building or scaling logistics and supply chain operations from early-stage to growth phase</li><li>Background in consumer goods, food &amp; beverage, retail, or manufacturing logistics</li><li>Experience working in hands-on, grassroots environments where processes are still being built and refined</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Salary: $52,000 &ndash; $60,000 per year</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li><li>Opportunity to grow into expanded logistics or operations leadership roles</li><li>Hands-on exposure to end-to-end logistics, co-packing, and supply chain operations in a scaling company</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $52,504.55 - $63,231.29 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
