This paid position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment while making a meaningful difference in healthcare delivery.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.</li><li>Assist with medication intake, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring proper documentation in compliance with medical terminology standards.</li><li>Manage inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies to maintain optimal stock levels for the store.</li><li>Provide exceptional patient service by answering medication-related questions, assisting with medication administration procedures, and supporting patient care initiatives.</li><li>Support critical care and acute care teams by ensuring timely medication delivery and maintaining strict adherence to aseptic techniques during preparation.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of medication dispensing, inventory transactions, and patient interactions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth medication workflows, including intake assessments and medication reconciliation processes.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication management practices.</li><li>Prior experience working in retail pharmacy is preferred but will train the right person.</li><li>Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and communication.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently within a team while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.</li><li>Certification as a pharmacy technician or relevant licensure preferred; ongoing professional development encouraged.
