We are looking for an experienced paralegal to work in a small law firm focusing on personal injury and medical malpractice cases. We are a small firm, but we get big results. We are looking for someone who works well with others and can jump in to tackle whatever challenge or task the day presents. You would assists with all aspects of a cases from signing through settlement and litigation. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Litigation Paralegal.Important Skills Include:<ul><li>Excellent phone rapport</li><li>Word processing and formatting</li><li>Ability to communicate over multiple platforms including phone, e-mail, letter, and fax</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Strong professional writing skills</li><li>Strong research skills</li><li>Ability to multi task</li><li>Positive, upbeat attitude even in a stressful environment</li><li>Discretion to maintain client confidentiality</li></ul>Daily Tasks Include (but not limited to):<ul><li>Drafting documents for litigation (discovery, pleadings, expert designations)</li><li>Preparing documents and scheduling for mediation, depositions, and trial</li><li>Managing attorney calendar</li><li>Speaking with clients about case status</li><li>Requesting medical records</li><li>Preparing communication (letters, e-mails, and faxes) from transcription and sending them to the appropriate party.</li><li>Assisting the attorney as needed with various office tasks.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Paralegal: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Omaha, NE 68114: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
