Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of construction projects, waste management, and material distribution.Duties<ul><li>Operate dump trucks, with manual transmission to transport construction materials, debris, across designated routes.</li><li>Drive route-specific deliveries while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels.</li><li>Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, routes traveled, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate schedules and address any logistical issues promptly.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial driving environment.</li><li>Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission operation; experience with refrigerated trailers or tankers is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with route driving, load &amp; unload procedures, and freight handling across different trailer types such as flatbeds or roll-offs.</li><li>Knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving, including proper securing of loads and adherence to transportation regulations.</li><li>Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts for loading or unloading cargo when necessary.</li><li>Prior delivery driver experience involving freight movement over short or long distances preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy.
