&lt;Overview&gt; Job Summary We&rsquo;re hiring a reliable, organized full-charge bookkeeper and office manager to handle financial operations and day-to-day office administration. This is an in-office a hands-on role for a detail-oriented self-starter who can maintain accurate books, manage billing and collections, and keep the office running smoothly.&lt;Responsibilities&gt;<ul><li>&middot; Full-charge bookkeeping: maintain general ledger, post transactions, reconcile bank and trust/IOLTA accounts monthly using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Peach Tree, TABS3, Clio or similar platforms.</li></ul>&middot; Support HR tasks: new-hire onboarding, benefits enrollment coordination, time-off tracking&middot; Accounts payable/receivable&middot; Trust accounting compliant with legal/ethical rules; prepare trust account reconciliations and reports&middot; Payroll processing - coordinate with payroll provider&middot; Monthly financial close, prepare financial statements and basic reports for partners&middot; Assist with budgeting and cash-flow tracking&middot; Manage office operations: primarily vendor relationships and equipment maintenance (i.e. coordinate with outside vendors - IT, copier, accounting, benefits)&middot; Implement and maintain office policies and procedures; suggest workflow improvements&lt;Requirements&gt;<ul><li>Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping within a corporate or governmental setting.</li><li>Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits &amp; credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or similar platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of payroll systems like ADP or Paychex and experience managing payroll processes.</li><li>Familiarity with tax regulations and non-profit accounting practices preferred.</li><li>Ability to perform data entry accurately at high speed (10 key typing skills).</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in account analysis and reconciliation tasks.</li><li>Strong math skills combined with a solid grasp of financial software tools used for bookkeeping and reporting.
