Job Title: Housekeeper + Household Assistant / House-Sitter (Morning Hours) &mdash; Organized, Reliable, PositiveJob Type: Part-time (with potential to grow) Location: Plantation / Fort Lauderdale area (in-home) Start: ImmediateAbout the RoleWe&rsquo;re seeking a trustworthy, upbeat, highly organized Housekeeper + Household Assistant who can also house-sit when we&rsquo;re away. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, anticipating needs, and keeping communication clear and consistent.ScheduleMorning window: 7:00 / 8:00 AM &ndash; 12:00 PM / 1:00 PM with flexibilityTypical shifts: 4&ndash;6 hours (schedule can become consistent once hired)Key ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping &amp; Home Reset<ul><li>General housekeeping: kitchen, bathrooms, floors, dusting, vacuuming, tidying, trash/recycling</li><li>Daily &ldquo;reset&rdquo; of main living areas so the home stays clean, calm, and organized</li><li>Light home organization projects (fridge/pantry/closets/cabinets as needed)</li></ul>Laundry (Important)<ul><li>Fold clean laundry neatly and put everything away in the correct drawers/closets</li><li>Learn and maintain the home&rsquo;s clothing organization system (children + adults)</li><li>Keep drawers/closets orderly; re-fold/re-stack as needed; return misplaced items</li><li>Ask when unsure where something belongs and learn the system quickly</li></ul>Household Assistant Tasks<ul><li>Run errands including dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up, post office as needed</li><li>Returns: take packages back to stores, handle returns/exchanges as directed, keep receipts organized</li><li>Sort/organize mail and packages; keep deliveries tidy and in the right place</li><li>Maintain household supplies and pantry basics; track what&rsquo;s running low</li><li>Create a running grocery/household list; optionally shop for items with our card</li></ul>Light Family + Pet Support<ul><li>Feed/walk the dog and keep dog-related areas tidy</li><li>Occasionally prepare a simple breakfast for our child</li><li>Occasional dog-sitting (scheduled in advance)</li></ul>House-Sitting (When We&rsquo;re Away)<ul><li>Help keep the home secure and running smoothly while we travel (mail/packages, basic home checks, pet support as needed)</li><li>Communicate updates as requested and flag anything urgent immediately</li></ul>Coordination with Other Helpers / Vendors<ul><li>Help coordinate with other home service providers when on-site (yard care, window cleaning, etc.)</li><li>Ensure work is completed as requested and vendors leave the property when finished</li><li>Provide brief updates to us and flag concerns or incomplete work</li></ul>Communication &amp; House Standards (Important)<ul><li>We need excellent communication, especially when you are out running errands or house-sitting (quick updates, ETA&rsquo;s, confirmations).</li><li>If you need time off/vacation, please communicate as far in advance as possible so we can plan coverage.</li><li>Strict phone policy: no personal phone use during work hours. Phone use is only allowed for work-related communication with us or tasks we request.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Experience in housekeeping and/or household assisting</li><li>Strong organization skills and attention to detail</li><li>Reliable, punctual, discreet, and takes initiative</li><li>Warm, positive attitude</li><li>Comfortable around children and dogs</li><li>Must speak English well. Bilingual is welcome.</li></ul>Pay$23.00-$25/hour depending on experience and fit.
