If you&rsquo;re energetic, detail-oriented, and ready to make your mark in the fast-paced world of news, we want to hear from you!Duties<ul><li>Conduct research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and integrity of news stories</li><li>Write compelling articles and news reports adhering to AP style guidelines</li><li>Capture high-quality photos and videos for news stories using journalism-grade videography and photography techniques</li><li>Edit video content for broadcast and digital platforms, including television broadcast editing and social media clips</li><li>Manage social media platforms by creating engaging content, posting updates, and interacting with audiences</li><li>Assist in content editing, proofreading, and copy editing to maintain clarity and professionalism</li><li>Support story development through interviews, on-site reporting, and multimedia storytelling efforts</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong written communication skills with a focus on journalistic writing and storytelling</li><li>Proficiency in photography, videography, video editing, and content production tools</li><li>Experience with social media management across platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok</li><li>Knowledge of AP style for news writing and editing</li><li>Ability to produce engaging social media content that resonates with diverse audiences</li><li>Familiarity with broadcast journalism practices including television broadcast editing and news videography</li><li>Excellent research skills combined with fact-checking accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Bilingual abilities are a plus for reaching broader audiences</li><li>Digital journalism experience with content writing, copywriting, proofreading, and content editing skills</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Please note we are a Christian startup news media company looking for fresh voices and faces who are excited, passionate and ready to put in the work with a beginner's outlet.
