We work closely with physicians, hospitals, and insurance providers to deliver high-quality patient care and medical devices.We are seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Office Administrator to support daily clinic operations at our Chicago location.Responsibilities<ul><li>Answer and manage patient calls in a professional manner</li><li>Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups</li><li>Verify insurance benefits and eligibility</li><li>Assist with medical billing and coding</li><li>Communicate with doctors&rsquo; offices, hospitals, and insurance companies</li><li>Track documentation and ensure timely submission of insurance-related paperwork</li><li>Maintain organized and accurate patient records</li><li>Support front desk and administrative operations</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in a medical office required</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology</li><li>Experience with insurance verification and claims processing</li><li>Basic understanding of CPT and ICD coding preferred</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Professional demeanor and strong patient service mindset</li><li>Ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience in orthotics, prosthetics, or DME billing</li><li>Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Stable Monday&ndash;Friday schedule (no weekends)</li><li>Supportive and professional work environment</li><li>Opportunity to grow within a growing healthcare organization</li></ul>Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
