Braceman P&O is a growing orthotics and prosthetics provider serving patients throughout Illinois and the Midwest. We work closely with physicians, hospitals, and insurance providers to deliver high-quality patient care and medical devices.

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Office Administrator to support daily clinic operations at our Chicago location.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage patient calls in a professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups
  • Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
  • Assist with medical billing and coding
  • Communicate with doctors’ offices, hospitals, and insurance companies
  • Track documentation and ensure timely submission of insurance-related paperwork
  • Maintain organized and accurate patient records
  • Support front desk and administrative operations

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a medical office required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with insurance verification and claims processing
  • Basic understanding of CPT and ICD coding preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor and strong patient service mindset
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA

Preferred

  • Experience in orthotics, prosthetics, or DME billing
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
