Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Job Description

This position plays a vital role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly and ensuring accurate, timely billing. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and experienced in medical billing and office administration.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally
• Create and maintain accurate patient charts
• Schedule patients and coordinate appointments
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
• Review daily visit notes and claims for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure billing is accurate and optimized for maximum reimbursement
• Work closely with the billing team on all billing processes
• Monitor and resolve rejected or denied claims in a timely manner
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• Medical office experience is a plus
• Medical billing experience is required
• Strong understanding of insurance verification, claims, and reimbursements
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work independently from home
• Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
• Proficient in EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and basic computer applications
