We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated A+ Office Assistant/Billing Specialist to join our team.Job DescriptionThis position plays a vital role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly and ensuring accurate, timely billing. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and experienced in medical billing and office administration.Responsibilities<ul><li>Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally</li><li>Create and maintain accurate patient charts</li><li>Schedule patients and coordinate appointments</li><li>Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits</li><li>Review daily visit notes and claims for accuracy and completeness</li><li>Ensure billing is accurate and optimized for maximum reimbursement</li><li>Work closely with the billing team on all billing processes</li><li>Monitor and resolve rejected or denied claims in a timely manner</li><li>Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality</li><li>Assist with other administrative duties as needed</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Medical office experience is a plus</li><li>Medical billing experience is required</li><li>Strong understanding of insurance verification, claims, and reimbursements</li><li>Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills</li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to multitask and work independently from home</li><li>Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace</li><li>Proficient in EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and basic computer applications</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Bountiful, UT 84010
