CRITICAL CARE UNIT CLERK

• Secretarial/clerical courses preferred. Unit Clerk experience preferred.

• Accurate spelling required.

• Medical terminology and abbreviations.

• Keyboarding and computer skills.

• Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

• Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with all age groups.

• Must be able to keep calm under stress.

• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months. Lethal dysrhythmia course within 6 months.

• High school level of knowledge necessary to read physicians' orders and transcribe them correctly.
