About the Role:
The Behavioral Health Technician plays a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of patients by providing direct care and assistance under the supervision of clinical staff. This position is essential in implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting clinical assessments, and managing crisis situations to ensure patient safety and progress. The technician will maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation to support continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>

Behavioral Health Technician

We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to add to our dynamic team! The DON provides supervision of nursing staff as well as performs all duties of nursing services. The DON implements policy and procedures regarding supervised withdrawal and carries out physician&rsquo;s orders and protocols as directed. They will assure that a full complement of nursing staff is available to meet the needs of patients and participate in quality and performance improvement activities as indicated. Additionally, the DON will participate in infection control surveillance and prevention. 
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Complete and document an accurate and comprehensive nursing assessment, which concludes with the identification of key findings that needs to be addressed in treatment</li><li>
Accurately assess acuity of withdrawal and intervene according to program policy, procedures, and protocol</li><li>
Accurately conduct mental status and suicide risk screening and initiate consultation/intervention in a timely manner as indicated</li><li>
Establish and maintain rapport with patients and their family members</li><li>
Accurately monitor vital signs (B/P, Pulse, Respirations) and administer medications properly when ordered by physician</li><li>
Perform venipuncture on patients accurately and without harm to patients</li><li>
Administer P.O. medications, IM injections and IV medications, including IV fluids</li><li>
Accurately transcribe physician orders, order medication and be accountable with controlled medications</li><li>
Perform routine monitoring and testing, e.g., blood glucose monitoring, audiometric screening, EKG</li><li>
Provide health/medical education to patients and family members as appropriate</li><li>
Supervise, monitor, and assure quality clinical performance of nursing personnel</li><li>
Supervise and participate in timely, accurate patient record documentation pertaining to nursing assessments, treatment planning, treatment rendered, patient&rsquo;s response to and progress in treatment, physician&rsquo;s orders, and other standard activities</li><li>
Assure nursing participation in Clinical Team Staffing and staff meetings</li><li>
Serve as the facility&rsquo;s Infection Control Officer. Assure Infection Control Policy&rsquo;s and Procedures are implemented and maintained</li><li>
Monitor and evaluate, in conjunction with the Pharmacist, medication usage reviews</li><li>
Assure regular monitoring of patient care equipment</li><li>
Serve on the ECPSO and other committees as indicated</li><li>
Conduct regular quality/performance improvement monitoring and evaluation activities and serve on Task Groups as needed</li><li>
Conduct staff performance evaluations as needed</li><li>

Qualifications<ul><li>
Graduate of approved school of nursing and current state license (RN)</li><li>
Two years experience in supervisory capacity and two years experience in chemical dependency treatment or psychiatric nursing</li><li>
Previous experience in directing Inpatient/Residential Nursing Unit preferred.</li><li>
Must be able to continuously sit from 6 to 8 hours per shift</li><li>
Must be able to see 20/40 corrected in each eye and hear (hearing aid acceptable)</li><li>
Must be capable of administering CPR</li><li>
Walk within the facility approximately &frac12; mile per 8 hour shift</li><li>

About the Role:
The Behavioral Health Technician plays a critical role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges by providing direct care and assistance under the supervision of clinical staff. This position focuses on implementing treatment plans, conducting clinical assessments, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in various behavioral health settings. The technician is responsible for crisis intervention and management, helping to de-escalate situations and provide immediate support during episodes of emotional or behavioral distress. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation and assisting with discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Ultimately, the Behavioral Health Technician contributes to improving patient outcomes by fostering a therapeutic environment and supporting the multidisciplinary team in delivering comprehensive mental health services.
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate&rsquo;s degree or higher in a related field preferred.</li><li>
Experience working in a behavioral health or mental health setting, including direct patient care.</li><li>
Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and ability to maintain accurate records.</li><li>
Basic understanding of crisis management and intervention techniques.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health crises and SED.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Certification as a Behavioral Health Technician or equivalent credential.</li><li>
Training or coursework in mental health, psychology, social work, or related disciplines.</li><li>
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.</li><li>
Familiarity with discharge planning processes and community resource coordination.</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.</li></ul>
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with mental health and emotional disorders, including those with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED).</li><li>
Conduct clinical assessments and assist in monitoring patient progress according to individualized treatment plans.</li><li>
Implement crisis intervention techniques to manage and de-escalate behavioral emergencies effectively and safely.</li><li>
Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, and discharge plans.</li><li>
Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and update discharge plans that promote patient stability and community reintegration.</li><li>
Participate in team meetings and communicate patient status and concerns to ensure coordinated care.</li><li>
Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies related to patient care, confidentiality, and safety.</li></ul>
Skills:
The required skills such as clinical documentation and maintaining accurate records are essential for tracking patient progress and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Crisis management and crisis intervention skills are applied daily to safely de-escalate situations and provide immediate support to patients in distress. Clinical assessments enable the technician to monitor behavioral changes and contribute valuable information to treatment planning. Knowledge of mental health conditions, including Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), informs compassionate and effective patient care. Additionally, discharge planning skills help facilitate smooth transitions for patients returning to community settings, ensuring continuity of care and support.</div>

Using a holistic approach, our team supports clients on their path to self-love, self-acceptance, and self-awareness. We are seeking a Clinical Director to add to our dynamic team! 
Responsibilities<div><ul><li>
Facilitate direct supervision of the clinical treatment program for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.</li><li>
Provide training of staff in delivery of services for mental health and substance use disorders</li><li>
Provide direct support of clinical staff (therapists, case managers, discharge planners, clinical interns)</li><li>
Provide staff with supervision in the cultivation of therapeutic relationships with clients, families, and referring professionals</li><li>
Assist with the assessment of clients and develop individualized treatment goals, using client input, and client strengths, abilities, needs and preferences</li><li>
Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions to assist clients in overcoming challenges</li><li>
Provide input to modifying and enhancing the clinical services</li><li>
Provide and schedule clinical training for The Willows staff including the utilization of the clinical team to provide training to staff based on their expertise</li><li>
Continuously advocate for the highest standard of comprehensive, ethical clinical care</li><li>
Work in collaboration with other professionals as part of a treatment team; including operations and program directors to ensure comprehensive communication throughout all departments</li><li>
Work with compliance department to ensure clinical staff is current with all license and certifications</li><li>
Work with operations and compliance departments to ensure documentation of clinical services is complete and accurate.</li><li>
Other related tasks and duties as directed by the supervisor</li></ul></div> 
Minimum Qualifications<div><ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree in human service field</li><li>
LCMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or LCAS</li><li>
One year of experience supervising clinical staff</li><li>
Experience in supervision of daily clinical operations of inpatient treatment of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders</li></ul></div> 
Preferred Qualifications<div><ul><li>
Dually licensed in both addiction and mental health treatment (or willing to seek both)</li><li>
Experience working with young adults in an eco-therapeutic setting</li><li>
Three or more years of experience supervising master level clinicians and bachelor level substance abuse counselors</li><li>
Willingness to pursue requirements for full licensure within 75 days of start date</li></ul>
