Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and dependable Aluminum Fabricator to join our team at a competitive pay rate. This position involves fabricating, fitting, and assembling aluminum components and structures from drawings and specifications for marine projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented team player who will show up on time, work independently or as part of a team, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.Duties<ul><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions</li><li>Measure, cut, fit, and assemble aluminum components accurately</li><li>Perform aluminum MIG and/or TIG welding as needed</li><li>Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drills, presses, and other shop tools</li><li>Lay out parts and verify dimensions to ensure proper fit-up</li><li>Maintain quality standards and meet production schedules</li><li>Inspect completed work for accuracy and workmanship</li><li>Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area</li><li>Communicate effectively with supervisors, welders, and other fabrication team members</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven construction site experience with aluminum fabrication or related manufacturing environments.</li><li>Skilled in MIG welding/TIG welding.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.</li><li>Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, welding machines, plasma cutters, and heavy equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting heavy materials safely on construction sites or in fabrication shops.</li><li>Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you able to pass a pre-employment drug screening?</li><li>Are you able to pass a pre-employment physical and perform the physical requirements of this position?</li><li>What is your desired starting hourly pay rate?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>shipbuilding: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
