About Brechin Holdings Brechin Holdings is part of a wider group comprising around 30 companies, including Padmanor Investments Limited, which recently acquired the V-Shed in Bristol. The group is principally owned by three high-net-worth families and manages a diverse portfolio of assets valued at over £120 million. The portfolio spans Greater London, the South East, and the South West of England, and includes: <ul> <li>25 key commercial assets with over 250 tenants.</li> <li>Approximately 400 residential leaseholders across 50 blocks.</li> <li>Around 60 residential tenancies in additional properties.</li> <li>500-600 lock-up garages across 15+ sites.</li> <li>Other investments including land and a golf course/hotel/spa (currently on the market with retained development potential).</li> </ul> Brechin Holdings is a long-standing and respected property company focused on thoughtful asset management and strategic investment. The Role Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you will support the full spectrum of asset management activities across the group's diverse portfolio. This broad and hands-on role offers autonomy and professional development which includes: <ul> <li>Managing landlord & tenant matters and day-to-day estate operations across a wide spectrum of asset types and sizes.</li> <li>Overseeing external agents, consultants, and contractors.</li> <li>Acting as the principal client for refurbishments, lettings, assignments, and litigation.</li> <li>Progressing commercial and residential leasing deals across all stages.</li> <li>Handling asset revaluations, capital allowances, and insurance renewals.</li> <li>Driving sustainability improvements and energy performance across the estate.</li> </ul> While property management is largely outsourced, you'll have the authority to review agent performance, recommend changes, and offer advice on acquisitions and disposals in line with strategic goals. The Candidate We're seeking a capable and motivated individual with the following attributes: <ul> <li>Ideally MRICS qualified Chartered Surveyor.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage a varied portfolio and multiple ongoing transactions.</li> <li>Experience in commercial property and asset management, leasing and landlord & tenant. </li> <li>Experience working on commercial/residential property database software (Re-Leased would be an advantage but training will be provided either way).</li> <li>Hands-on, proactive approach with good financial acumen and a focus on delivering results.</li> <li>Strong communication skills with ability to conduct regular in person meetings and when required present information to the senior board team.</li> <li>Effective team leader, confident managing both in-house and external teams.</li> <li>Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.</li> <li>Full UK driving licence and access to a car for business use.</li> </ul> What's in it for you?
