If you are someone passionate about storytelling through visuals, connecting with customers through social media, and bringing a retail space to life through creative marketing efforts. You&rsquo;ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure our garden centers&rsquo; brand is vibrant, engaging, and aligned with our seasonal goals.Key Responsibilities:Content Creation, Social Media and Email Marketing<ul><li>Capture and edit compelling photo and video content, highlighting plants, products, events, and the daily operations of the garden center.</li><li>Strategically plan, schedule, and publish posts across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook), ensuring adherence to brand voice and guidelines.</li><li>Monitor social media engagement and respond to inquiries and comments as necessary.</li><li>Develop and distribute engaging weekly email newsletters to customers showcasing current sales, upcoming events/workshops, new arrivals, and other seasonal highlights within the garden center.</li></ul>Graphic Design and Signage<ul><li>Design all in-store signage, including:</li><li>Roadside banners</li><li>Plant information signs</li><li>Promotional and sales signage</li><li>Digital screens (where applicable)</li><li>Develop marketing assets utilizing photography, graphic design, and established branded templates.</li></ul>Event Support and Coordination<ul><li>Assist in the planning and execution of retail events, workshops, and seasonal classes.</li><li>Create promotional materials for events (e.g., flyers, social graphics, signage).</li><li>Provide support for day-of event logistics and customer engagement.</li></ul>Brand and Strategy<ul><li>Collaborate with leadership to maintain alignment with seasonal marketing themes and retail priorities.</li><li>Contribute innovative and creative ideas to promote products, educate customers, and enhance brand presence.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, Art and Design, or a related field.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Familiarity with tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Constant Contact, and various Social media platforms)</li><li>Portfolio of work is preferred, but not required.</li></ul>Other Requirements:<ul><li>Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for events, workshops, or trade shows.</li><li>Could require physical activity: setting up displays or signage.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.</li></ul>*Job Type: Full-timePay: From $43,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Associate (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Social media marketing: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
